Dear Tamra

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately I've got no experience with regards to work visas for people from China. I would imagine that the careers department at your university can provide you with some guidance and also possibly a recruitment agency that specialises in your industry sector. They can probably tell you what kind of vacancies and trends there are for your profession, where in the UK most job opportunities are and how difficult/easy it would be to obtain a work visa.

I hope you continue to have an enjoyable time in the UK and good luck with your job search.

Hey There Stammtisch,
Thanks for that, I came from China and I will apply for the Master of Project management in Northumbria university. I heard that foreigners(like Chinese) are difficult to get work visa in England. I have 5 yrs experience on project management(electronic industry), especially on financial area. Is it pretty difficult for me to apply job in England after I graduate from Master. What should I do to enhance the chance to get a related job in England?

Thanks for your reply in advance!

Friends and colleagues,

Thank you to you all for making Susan and myself so welcome at the BBQ and for so kindly supporting me as regards our ROTARY END POLIO CD which has now raised nearly £2000, which is being used to eradicate Polio in its main areas,India,Pakistan,Nigeria and Afghanistan. Rotary is actively supported by the Bill Gates/Melissa Gates Foundation which effectively doubles every £1 contribution made The result is that each £1 donation immunises 5 children. Thank you again.

The BBQ was provided a wonderful setting + a most pleasant variety of food and drink.

Where were the boules and croquet-I hear Susan asking? We met so many interesting people and would be delighted if you contact us with your news. On our part we would be pleased to come to see you and provide a musical interlude - a short live violin performance + a talk in either German or English about the CD and its music.

Please do get in touch .My email address is djbiermann@aol.com and my phone number 0191 5270330 Rotarian David Biermann

This just sounds irresistible! So I look forward to seeing you all at the Mansion House.

On a slightly different note - I was wondering if there were any motorbikers on the Stammtisch? I'm always looking for people to go out for a ride with?

Thanks.
