This week the German magazine published an article on the cycle tours in Germany – click here for a link.
And if you are in Germany and haven’t got a bike with you, Deutsche Bahn might just be your saviour. Check out the iPhone app – DB Bahn Call a Bike.
I also recently found out that Deutsche Bahn have a passenger service centre in London, that can help you with rail travel in Europe either directly from the UK leaving St Pancras on the eurostar or on arrival at a European airport: www.bahn.com/uk.
If you’re looking for direct flights to Germany from the North East, you can fly daily to Duesseldorf using Lufthansa or Flybe to Hannover three times a week. Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, KLM and BA also provide great links to other German cities.
